Google Geocoding configurator has been shifted

This integration, which allows users of your community to easily activate the localization of their current position simply by clicking on the geotag icon, has been moved inside Google APIs section inside the Integrations menu.

Renamed the “Content Location” setting to “Post Location”

This feature, available inside the Content Advanced Settings, enables location tagging of your posts.
If set to ON: anyone in the community can create localized content (staff and users).
To locate a post, simply type the location in the “Enter a location” field, the autocomplete function will assist while selecting the location.

Users Registration with Approval

We have introduced a new feature that allows to approve users joining the community.
Only the registered users approved by the community administrators will have access to the community. 
This feature is now available in Users Registration under the Community Management section.
If the switch to control this feature is set to:

• ON: the users registration requires the community administrator approval. Only approved users can utilize the community.
• OFF: the users registration does not require approval. Registered users can immediately utilize the community.

Content Availability

We have introduced a new feature to manage the community content availability.
You will find it among the Content Advanced Settings.
If the switch to control this feature is set to:

• ON: the community content is visible to all users.
• OFF: the community content is visible and accessible only to registered users.

Restructured interface

Deep reorganization in the logical structure of the SelfCommunity Platform interface.
Now it is more intuitive and easier to use.

Content Sorting

Introduced the “Interest Content Sorting” which allows the admin of the community to set the order to assign to the Interest content: Recent (chronological order according the content date of creation) or Last activities (updated according to the most recent activity occurred).

Custom Advertising

Allows a full control of the advertising that will be shown inside the Community. Customized ads can be inserted in one of the available positions by choosing an image or an embed-code (e.g. video), its destination URL link, and eventually a specific interest where the ads will be shown.

Upload Integrated Video – STAFF ONLY

This feature allows to activate or disable video integration via Vimeo API.

Minor changes and bugfixes

• Added better support to emoji in post, replies and private messages
• Added sorting on multi image and multi documents uploaded in the post

Introduced multi-image and multi-PDF files uploads within a single post.

It is now possible to publish posts enriched by a gallery of multiple images or by a sequence of multiple files in PDF format.

If the post includes several photos or PDF files, only the first five show up, then a number with a plus sign will indicate that there are additional images or files to view.

A post with multiple images can be open in carousel mode directly from a stream, and a PDF can be directly open in the browser from a multi-PDF file.

In the post creation, the multiple selections is supported: hold down the Shift or Command key on a Mac, or the Ctrl key on a PC, while you select multiple images/PDF files to post.
The single image size should not exceed 5MB and the single PDF should not exceed 50MB.
